Where the Heart Is
Description: As an actor, my son Mike, is able to take part in many community events. At the dedication of our county Veterans Park he was asked to dress in the uniform of a Revolutionary Soldier and having many Veterans in our family, including his father, he was overjoyed to honor our local Veterans. As he watched the fireworks at the end of the evening I snapped this photo of him standing in front of the flag. There is a feeling of deep pride and respect on his face that really stands out. And while I snapped the shutter I really do think there is a special quality going on that I can not take full credit for.
