Description: This is my first attempt. Just a little info on this cover; I basically wanted it to look like an actual mag. So, since this cover is supposed to be for the Aug issue, I searched for August's upcoming CD's and DVDs, hence the "Kanye West" & "Van Dyk's" mentions. I also changed the date on top, from July to August. Just to get the feeling of what it would look like, if chosen. Also, chose this pic of the band. cuz the shoot itself sorta reflects how this issue is all about them and their music.

Description: My 3rd attempt, this concept was the first that popped into my head actually. I decided to go for the white background, cuz it's more easy on the eyes and appealing. I tried to make it look like an actual Magazine cover by adding the little Kanye West figure at the bottom and those promotional tag lines. I worked so hard on it, almost took me 3 weeks to finish it.

Description: A simple concept, showing the "Family Values" flyer posted on a billboard in the city, and how people passing by on the street would react when seeing it. Also, the speech bubbles shows their instant emotions to the flyer. I used those colors in particular to make the text clear and easy to read.

Background paper from www.ex-posed.com. *Click to enlarge* Ok a little explanation; I basically extracted the original stock, and redid the eyes/hair/a little part of the upper body/changed her outfit a little. But the legs/the pose are all credit to the original maker.
