Guttin' out the city of New Orleans
Description: My most memorable job? Spending Summer '06 in New Orleans-a time of demolition, construction, yard cleanup, visits to youth homes, nurseries, & more. Often, we were working in homes that hadn't been touched since Nat’l Guard searches Sept ‘05. The furniture had been picked up by the flood & brought down to settle into the heaping rot we gutted out. It was a tiring but well spent 8 wks. May God bless all those still serving others whose homes & lives have been devastated by Katrina & other natural disasters.
