About The Toya...
Like most people... I'm just a struggling artist, trying to find my way.
My main focus, is designing clothes, or to teach, or maybe finish my novels I have been working on for the passed few years... err perhaps to sell my paintings. So many choices, not enough time to decide them.
... Hence my reason for running into Brickfish...
BEING SO ARTISTIC APPARENTLY HAS A HUGE NEED FOR LARGE CAPITOL... of course this is also the reason why I am going back to school, to study something more... "practical", in order to have stable support in what I am passionate about.
In 2010, I plan to start college, and to earn my Bacholors in the medical industry.
I have temporarliy put down my paint brushes and fashion scissors, to focus on having a more "practical" life. To sum up the reason... I left my ex (a control freak & abussive), to fight for a life of my own. For the passed year I swear I have been through hell and back again. And still hold on to the dream that one day, I will not be 'homeless' anymore, and stable, and able to design clothes and paint until my hearts content.
I have been designing (at least illustrating) clothes, since I was 15. When to college to gain a degree in Fashion design, when I was 16. (Note: I studied abroad, in the UK). Graduated 2 years later, with a degree in Fashion design.
I'm here on 'Brickfish' not only for gaining prizes (trying to build up a scolarship for college), but to meet other artistic people, around the world.
Hopefully, with each piece that I summit... you can gain a better understanding of me.
