my intrests are nearly entirely opposite of those of most of mainstream culture, meaning promisuity sucks and all that sort of thing.  I am an artist by birth and a geek by trade, primarily a geek in the realm of all things dealing with The Lord of the Rings ( I am talking about the masterpieces of literature written by J.R.R. Tolkien, not the cheap form of weekend entertainment spawned by peter jackson and all his goons) My Favourite character in those books is of course Pippin, and since I am a tolkien fan, I am also very interested in languages, etymology, nature and ancient/medieval history, though I have been into all those things long before I became a Tolkien fan (or at least a serious one).  I am an uber-environmentalist, which means Cheryl Crowe is a quack.  People should care about the environment because it's the right thing to do, not because celebrities pitch environmental campaigns to them (which also means that when the world goes under due to global warming, we real nature lovers will be able to blame the rest of the world without them saying  "Oh, but we do care about the environment!" as they drive by themselves in their SUV's tossing they're garbage out the window into a protected wetland).

Though I technically would fall under the "individualist" social category, I refuse to be associated with them, since most of the "individualists" out there are just following a different crowd, but not actually thinking for themselves.  

I am MORALLY OPPOSED to chatroom lingo, so if you comment or whatever, please leave your "U's" and your "R's" and your "UR's" and whatever else to yourself thank you.  Yes, I'm aware that that is how most people communicate over the internet, but please, it makes you look like an idiot with the vocabulary of a paramecium (and parameciums don't even have a vocabulary) so, yes, proper english please.
