General
Well instead of being defined strictly by interests, I'll just tell you what I am like. I am a very odd person, and depending on your personality, you will either be intriqued or frightened. Socially, I enjoy big groups and battling with other peoples' voices for that one witty line where everyone laughs over-dramatically, and your ego just munches away. Come on, you know what I'm talking about. But on a more intreverted side, I partake in a lot of activities that are merely for my own amusement. I do enjoy writing, and hopefully when I make it past all my poor grammar, I might be confident enough to look into it someday. I do write poetry, non-fiction, and all those wonderful research essays that I am forced to do, but really, fiction and detail is my passion. Art is another little activity that makes me sane enough to deal with traffic, rude expressions, and ... starbucks prices. I'm not much of a drawer, but my sister has been kind enough to show me some techniques. Photoshop is a wonderful program to make me feel like an artist at times, until I'm shown up by... essentially everyone else, but I still enjoy it for selfish reasons. I love music, as most do, but aside from random likes such as celtic and other soft jazzy things, I love metal. Melodic death, thrash, power, swedish, etc... I know, I supposedly don't look or sound it. I guess metal people are associated with all the drunken, raging halfwits, but I'm looking to stop that stereotype. On the subject of music, I've been singing with a vocal instructor for about 7 years now. This is probably the most personal subject for me for many reasons, and I don't often show off my voice. I go hiking quite a lot, and I feel as though the mountains are my true home seeing as I hate this city. One day I hope to have a beautiful wooden house in the mountains with two husky dogs. Sweet dream, huh? Anyway back to my wonderful list of interests that I said I wasn't going to do. I absolutely love to dance, but I haven't done much about it yet. I am taking a bellydance class currently, and it is one of the most brilliant things that I have done in a while. I hope to take jazz and salsa soon. Theater was a past passion of mine, but lately I have not done much. I suppose I got tired of doing 4 plays a year since I was nine. I love being with my boyfriend Adrian, whom I've been with for three years now. We're planning on going to Longwood University next year, and I cannot wait for that level of freedom. Well, the last thing for me to say is that I am a huge dreamer. I basically live with my head in the clouds, and can barely separate reality from imagination. I'm not sure I can explain this in a short "general interest" submission, but that is basically who and how I am.
 Dreams
Well I either want to go into writing, or wildlife management. It took me a while to single out these two professions, but there you have it. I'll most likely change my mind, as most do, in my college years. For now though, this is where I am headed. Aside from that, I've already told you about my house in the mountains with two husky dogs. No matter what, that's where I want to end up. I also, at some point in my life, want to work with tigers. Tigers, or any big cat really, are truly amazing creatures, and strangely play a big role in my life.
 People
Because of my loss of attention in these little paragraphs, I'll just briefly explain those important in my life.
Adrian - (boyfriend, three years): Amazingly hilarious, sarcastic, negative, and abrassive on encounter but he alwasy means well. He is very misunderstood by basically everyone around him, but I can never stop seeing the good in him. I really do love him.
Cherie - (My sister): hilarious as well, very unique sense of humor, artist, singer, and a brilliant person. Cherie has brought me back to sanity at times where I have gone off the wall and into another demention. She keeps me down to Earth, and has always supported my every move. She's just graduation Virginia Tech with a major in art/ computer graphic, and I miss her everyday.
Sid & Linn (the parental units): Very active in theater nowadays, funny people, unhappy with the mess at the house constantly, and very chill parents.
Brandon (brother) plays a lot of video games, very smart if he would just commit himself, practices karate, always optimistic. Brandon has a great outlook on life, he is also a dreamer much like myself, awesome at math but is intimidated by English. A very supporting brother.
Liz (Friend): I have known liz for about six years now, which is the longest that I have been close to someone outside of family. We have gone through quite a bit together, and have always come out on top. I really do hope things will continue that way throughout college.
Simone (friend): I haven't known Simone quite as long as Liz, but from what I do know, she is an amazing person. She has dealt with a lot with her family and life situations, and I hold her in the upmost respect. We share a lot of similarities, and her "won't take any shit from anyone" outlook gives me a lot of inspirations (if not, backbone).
Sandy and kitten (the pets): Kitten is my cat (a lack of creativity that day). She is spastic, disproportional, mean, aggressive & sweet at the same time. I love her a lot, and am really going to miss her in college. Sandy is the most unreplacable dog that I have ever known. Her personality shines through her giant body and stocky little legs. She is thirteen now, and reaching that time. I don't really know what I'm going to do, (as you can see animals are really important to me) but really, she is truly one of a kind.
Anyway, that's about it.
