The most important thing about me is that I love the Lord Jesus Christ with all of my heart. It's through His saving grace and power that I am who I am.
Oh, and about that love that will not let me go? Well, there's a song out there called "Knock You Down". You know, Keri Hilson's lyrics? The chorus of which goes something like: Sometimes love comes around and it knocks you down; just get back up when it knocks you down, et cetera, et cetera . . . Anyway, I've got no problem with the getting back up, but I do not believe in a love that will knock you down. Tell you the truth, I don't believe such a thing can be called love at all.
The love I know is one that holds on through adverity. Doesn't turn its back on pain. Holds you close in the darkest hour. Covers a multitude of hurt. My kind of love? It's one that will never let me go.
