I am a sophomore in high school, struggling to meet the academic and extracurricular demands of the top colleges. Writing is my main thing, but I also run cross country and volunteer.

General
I guess you could say that this year I have found my niche. I am known as the writer. This is a decent label, but I have a slight fear that I am overwriting myself. I am the Sections Editor of my high school newspaper (third in command and the one they give all the work to), I write a monthly column for the Shelby Star (the local newspaper), and am a staff writer for my high school yearbook. Those who don't know me as the writer know me as the smart kid. I am about as dedicated as I can be to my school work and plan to go to UNC Chapel Hill to double major in Business and Psychology.
