WOW! What a great rescue story! I love rescued dogs. My room mate has one and it just seems like they love their owners so much more because they saved their life. I hope that those traits don't show up in your Springer like they did in my old family dog. She started to get really aggressive at the end of her life, growling and barking at everyone that she saw (which could have been a result of her semi-blindness). And she suffered from epilepsy for most of her life. She would break into sudden ceasures and the vet said that it is common in the breed. My family has been trying to figure out if that is true or if she might have had some sort of head trauma (i.e. my brother accidentally hit her in the head with a metal baseball bat once when he was practicing for little league). They make awesome companions though, and I love the breed so much. Theya re so beautiful and active. Best of luck! Thanks for the add and the support!

Haha! I was just wondering if your Springer has temperment issues or if it has epilepsy? We used to have a Springer and she had both really bad and I ask every owner I know because I want to know if it's part of the breed or not. Beautiful dog by the way, I love Springers!
