I love to run and work out. I couldn't live without music, my husband, my family and my sweet little dog Allie. Not in that order, I would love to help my sweet daughter Audrey win some money for college! Audrey has a few campaigns but is very busy with a full class load. She is in her first year of college with several honors classes and I am so VERY proud her. We would love your votes and support so we could possibly win some scholarships for her. We have a large family. My husband , the love of my life, took me two times to get it right, was recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, which has no cure, when he had severe hip pain. which turned out to be a huge tumor on his hip (it caused a fracture and blow out of the bone). Previously, he had been the most healthy and fit person around. He could be on the cover of muscle and fitness magazine, minus the steroids. We are surviving and hoping that there will be a cure in the very near future. Why some people are able to live for several years with the disease and others are not remains a mystery. Geraldine Ferraro has had the disease for 10 years, many die within 3 to 5 years of diagnosis. Multiple Myeloma is a cancer of the blood cells. The bones are basically eaten away by the blood that nourishes them. It is one of the more rare forms of cancer. However, it is being found more frequently and earlier due to more awareness of the disease. Several actors have recently died from Multiple Myeloma, most recently Roy Schrieber (Jaws) and the grandpa in "Everyone loves Raymond." Lance Armstrong is a support of the foundation (MMRF). He is an inspiration to many. Hopefully, someday there will be a cure to all cancers.
