Dreams
oh jeesh. my dreams? well, here goes...
i dream of one day becoming a famous author and illustrator of fantasy books. i would like to create a new world within my imagination and share that with this world, in hopes that we might learn something about life in the process. i have learned so much from the books i submerge myself in, and i can only wish to do that for others.
i dream of becoming a portrait artist. i have spent the past three years seriously dedicating myself to the study of art, and although i have loved to draw my whole life (and have spent quite a lot of my time doing so), my passion has truly engulfed me by now. i dream of starting a successful business where people can buy portraits of their loved ones that i have drawn.
i dream of someday writing music and developing my voice enough to make a CD. not that i intend on searching for a record deal, because i have little faith in that business, but just for me and those close to me. i want to reach my greatest potential, and a CD, well, that would mean a lot to me.
i dream of living in a beautiful house somewhere that is always warm. i dream of finding true love and living my days happily ever after. i dream of being successful so that instead of being the one relying on others, others can rely on me. i dream of seeing Ireland and going back to my roots.
most importantly, i dream of having a beautiful, fulfilled life. and no matter how many dreams i have yet to realize, this dream, at least, is true every single glorious day.

i admire quite a lot of people in my life. naturally, my family and friends top the list, as i've seen the wonderful things they've done and the influence they have on the world. however, there is one person who stands out most of all.
Angela is my best friend and my soulmate (in a completely non-romantic sense). I look up to her for everything she does, and she astounds me every day. I have known her since the day I was born, and we have been best friends ever since. I love her to death, and I know she'll be there for me for the rest of our lives. We'll live them out together.
Places
my favorite place in the whole entire world is my family cottage in Hancock Point, Maine. i have gone there every summer since I was born, and my mom went nearly every summer of her life too. it is a beautiful, beautiful place, right on the Atlantic Ocean, where we can have fires on the beach and play guitar, search for the rarest kinds of seaglass, find seastars and crabs, watch the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain, and visit all the wonderful local places that have become a part of our memories. but the best part about it? spending the day lounging and reading my favorite books, with only the fresh air and beautiful ocean view to keep me company.
