Profile Summary
Hello there!

Dina, 24, Economics Major, Currently jobless.

Biggest dream ever is to move and reside in NYC. This dream, has been haunting me, ever since I can remember.

My dream jobs are to either work as a Radio DJ for Z100 or any other NY music station really. Or be part of the great UN organization. Specifically in the fund raising department.

Okay, after participating in the "Maroon 5 & Family Values" Campaigns, I sorta  got a new perspective at my career choices. Maybe it's better if I engage in graphic design or advertising, after all. Whether I win or lose, those campaigns definitely gave me something new to look at. At which, I'm incredibly grateful to.

Life purpose in general, is to influence people with the little I know, and one day, help make a difference in this disastrous world.

In my spare time, which is almost always, I like to make fanart on PS CS 3/ Adobe Illustrator and occasionally fiddle around with CSS & HTML.

Favorite quotes:

"
Music is the only thing, that can either, make you happy, or bring you to tears"
("Me*)

"Be the change, you want to see in the world."
(Gandhi)

"Dream as if you'll die today, Live as if you'll die today"

"Only the gentle are ever so strong"
(James Dean)

"Figure it out and let's go"
(Maroon 5 - "Figure It Out")

"There's no justice in the world, and there never was"
(Muse "Matt Bellamy" - Soldier's Poem)

"Soulless everywhere"
(Muse "Matt Bellamy" - New Born)

"Scarecrow's only scaring himself"
(Beck - Scarecrow)

People
I actually would love to see my favorite musicians/bands live and perhaps, get the opportunity of meeting them.

People, whom I wanna see live or luckily meet;

1- Andrew Bird;

The man plays like 6 instruments at the same time, and he's a professional whistler. He's purely a musical genius. I also would love to see him change his guitar pedals with his pretty red striped socks.

2- Maroon 5:

There are some bands/musicians who strike you as arrogant, therefore you would fear just the idea of meeting them or even seeing them live for that matter. But in M5's case, nope! they all come off as modest, friendly and very boys next door kinda guys. Plus, their jamming sessions rocks.

3- John Mayer:

One man can make a concert rock! he's amazing. His shows are always alive and hyper. Would love to see him live and meet this amazing man one day.

4- The White Stripes:

Their music is weird, intense, awesome all together. They put me in a weird mood. Sometimes I feel like I'm high just listening to them. Jack White is such a dope head, but he makes good music. I would very much like to meet him and know where he gets his inspiration from.

5- Beck:

I've recently discovered this amazing man. He's a multi-instrumentalist, basically a musical genius too. His live shows are always amusing and hip. He also seems like an interesting character, hence his weird lyrics.

6- Muse:

Matt Bellamy is a geek, but also a genius. His voice has different ranges. And each range is better than the other. People claim they have the best live shows ever in Britain and perhaps worldwide. I believe it's true, judging from the live videos I've seen. They know how to rock the house. And make the crowd go wild.

- Non musicians whom I would've loved to meet was "Princess Diana" she possessed the most genuine smile in the whole world. She had a heart of gold. And was such a charitable woman. Too bad! she died tragically. She was just amazing.
R.I.P the Princess.

- Also, I would've loved to meet the one and only "James Dean" , he wasn't just your average pretty Hollywood boy, nope! he was much more than that. If you look at his quotes ( some of them I listed here) he was a very wise, articulate man. Surprisingly enough for his very young age. How many actors these days would consider being a celebrity as the loneliest thing in the world? nobody, but he did. It's a pity, he died so young before the world could appreciate him more. Or maybe, they already did. Look at him, 40 something years dead and people still love and appreciate his work. He'll always be the legend we've come to respect and love .
R.I.P James Dean.
