Knowledge is my love, my passion, and my bread of life. I have an overwhelming craving to learn all that is worthy of being learned.

            Languages and culture greatly intrigue me. Questions such as, “why do they do that?” and “how could they see what I see differently?” pique my interest and cause me to delve deep into history, world studies, and information on travel and foreign exchange.

            My love of culture has led me to an obsession with Japan. I am currently in my second class year for the language, and have studied it independently beforehand for several years.

Over the past summers, I have had two different experiences with two very different Japanese teenage schoolgirls, both of which taught me a great deal about the mannerisms, diets, dialects, traditions, and lifestyles of the Japanese. It only increased my love for the people and their culture.

            I definitely am looking into foreign exchange during my college career, and plan on eventually making a great move over to the country to merge with its culture and reside with its arresting and diverse people.

The art of Japan inspires my creativity and has drawn me into it so deeply that I am immersed with the zeal to animate overseas in its studios.
