General
Who am I? I am first and foremost a MOTHER of 2 beautiful children!! A very single mother at that!! I have been divorced for a little over 4 years, but hasn't slowed me down... I live a few blocks off of the Worlds Most Beautiful Beaches.... no kidding, that's what they call them.... I have traveled a bit, and so far they are the prettiest.. at least to me.. Sugar white sand.. I grew up here and still live in the same house I did as a child. I only wish my children could grow up in the same place I did, but it has changed, sadly. I am very optimistic about the future and look forward to each new moment in all of our lives! After high school I went on to attend the University Of Alabama-Birmingham where I majored in marketing. I was/am also a member of the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority- for any fellow xi's! Okay- then came home, opened my first store at 22 got married, opened another store and a few other things but long story short it was all over by age 29. I can say folks that I have been on top of the world and at the very bottom. But there is nothing in this world to humble you more than falling on your face and loosing it all. It really makes you look at what is truly important in life, cause tomorrow it may be gone. Always learn from your mistakes, hold yourself accountable for your actions and give yourself a break on things that are out of your control. I always say there are 2 things in life you can't get back one is words and one is time, so be very careful how you spend them. Money, more can be made. Things can be replaced, but time can't and once you say something it is forever out there! Always hold tight to your dreams- never let anyone tell you it can't be done-that there should be motivation to prove them wrong! So go out there all you talented people and show the world what you got, you may fall but it's not about how many times you fall but how many you get back up that counts!
