My name is Erika. I'm 21 years old and lovin it! I'm a down-to-earth country girl. I value honesty, a hard day's work and don't believe anything is free. If you want it, work for it. Make it happen! I love my family,friends & pets and would do anything for them in a heartbeat! The love of my life and I are expecting our first child (Adrien Matthew Rylands) sometime in November.
Dreams
My goal/dream is to become a police officer.
I know some of you are like what?! She wants to be a cop!? Well, there are deeper reasons for my ambitions. I've been through a few abusive relationships. Very scary ones for my age. I could tell you all stories that would change your perspective on domestic violence. So, with that said.. I would like to be an officer to not only serve and protect the people but through means of justice, help those in abusive realtionships realize that they CAN GET OUT. . There ARE people out there that care about you and a fist to the face is NOT love. Anyone who will abuse the person they share their life with then turn around and say they "love" them is a criminal and a liar.
I joined this site to see if my artistic abilities could help me raise money for college. I was going to be a graphic designer specializing in photo repair/editing and manipulation. Now, I believe everything happens for a reason. I changed my career path to help people out there who feel they can't get out of the kind of situations I was put through. So, if you need someone to talk to.. Even though I may be a stranger, I can share my story and offer as much advice as I can.
