Hey everybody! I'm Melissa, but you can call me fergie! I'm a frshman at Arizona State University studying photography. It is my passion and my one true love. If i could become a photographer I could die the next day knowing that my life was worth it. I love all forms of art and consider myself to be a self proclaimed music-aholic. I love to rock out to my ipod everywhere and recently have begun a band with some of my closest friends (I'll let you guys know more about it once we actually really get going). I'm willing to answer any questions thrown at me, no matter how weird. So here are some answers to some you may already have:
SO, why Fergie?
It's the nickname I got my freshman year of high school from some of my friends. It comes from my last name and there are a ton of variations on it: the ferginator, fergalicious, fergasaurus rex, ferg, ferger meister meister ferger, etc. Almost everyone calls me by some form of fergie, even my teachers (which creeps me out).
What's up with the gnome?
One Christmas I confessed to a friend that I asked my parents for a garden gnome for Christmas. My parents didn't get it for me. No big deal, I only thought it would have been funny if they actually did. So my friend, when my birthday rolled around, went down to walgreens and got me a gnome for my present. Haha. I laughed so hard that she remembered that. So then it became a tradition with my frineds that everyone MUST give me a gnome for holidays and birthdays. Now I have a odd collection of them in my house and it scares the crap out of me. But they make my profile picture memorable, so hey, it works for me.
