Helo Ops
My most memorable job experience came this past summer when I was on active duty for the Coast Guard. I drove 41' and 70' vessels and participated in drills such as man overboard, assisting a vessel taking on water, towing, search and rescue, and my favorite...helo ops. In the video, a CG HH-65A Dolphin lowers a basket to pick up an injured mariner and myself (on the right) and a fellow coastie practice grabbing the basket, initiating proper hand signals, and making sure the basket clears the stern.
