I am really into horses and other pets, such as cats! My favorite horses are my 11 year old chestnut Quarter Horse named Ginger and her mom, Honey, a palomino Quarter Horse who is around 35 years old.

I work at 3 different ranches throughout the year. At one, I keep my 2 horses at across from my house for their summer retreat. The ranch is a trail riding ranch with around 60 horses from which my horses are originally from. In the winter, my horses are boarded at another ranch further away with 3 other horses that I take care of in the winter. My summer job is working at a third barn taking care of 5 horses and cleaning their stalls. It is a lot of work, but definitely worth it!

I also work for the animal shelter/society of my town where I am treasurer and I help take care of the dogs and cats who need new homes or are lost. It is a lot of fun and it feels great to know that I can made a difference in the lives of pets who are in need of love and care! :)

I am a sophomore at Colorado State University where I am studying business with a concentration in marketing in order to someday be able to design television commercials.
