Howdy!
I'm a freelance graphic designer giving photography a shot. So far, so good.
As for my motto about asking questions...
The reason I stated my motto the way I did was for the following reason. There are no stupid questions...ever. Never turn someone down when they ask you a question...especially a child. If they ask why the sky is blue, tell them the answer to the best of your ability. If you don't know, take them to the library or the Children's Museum or do something...but what ever you do, do not stifle their curiosity and imagination.
After all, with out people pondering thing such as "what would happen if I flew a kite in the middle of a thunderstorm" or "why did that apple just strike me on the noggen", where would we be today?? Always ask questions and never fear that you will be ridiculed for such a thing. Questions are the root of imaginations and creativity.
As you might have guessed, I am a very inquisitive person myself. I tend to ask a lot of questions and not just of other people. I often will ask myself things such as, "How can I make someone smile today" or "how can I change one item in the world today that might make it a better place tomorrow". Better yet I might find myself asking, "what the heck was I thinking???"
But what ever you do...ask your questions. Answer questions asked of you to the best of your ability. Never EVER stop wondering and pondering the world around you. Never cease to imagine.
