I am a New Yorker, no I do not have the irritating accent; it is said that I have no accent at all or I have been accused of being British. I wish I was British because if I were I would totally try out for the part of Hermione Granger in a few years if Emma Watson decides to quit.
I'm nearly 16 and due to my inability to do math, every day I have to count down the number of weeks to my birthday. Its pathetic really.
Although I can barely add, I am quite good at languages, if I can say so myself. I presently speak English (obviously  ), French, and Spanish. I wish to pursue a career in language and by the time I graduate from college, hopefully I will know German, Swiss German, Italian, Russian, Polish, Portuguese, and Arabic.
I am active in several after school activities and outside of school activities: my school's literary magazine, our branch of G.S.A., drama club, French club, Debate Team, piano, karate combined with kick boxing,my church's youth group, and I have a job at a local pet store.
I am a victim of domestic abuse from my biological mother and I was placed in foster care at the age of 12. I was adopted December 2, 2005. Recently I did a presentation about child abuse and relocation for two classes of students ranging between 15 and 18 years of age. Last spring, during May, due to it being National Foster Care Awareness Month, I did a presentation at my local church about foster care. Although I want to pursue a career in Linguistics of some sort, presently I enjoy devoting my time to educating about abuse because I could help someone out now.
I enjoy singing, acting, reading, writing, drawing, taking photos, and spending time with my pets and friends. I love chocolate, music, and movies.
Let's just say, I am unique.
