Josh was born in a small African village called Meru on the slopes of Mt. Kenya. He grew up among the Meru people in a missionary family. Later in life he moved to Lubbock, TX and shortly after to Portland, OR. It was in the beautiful Northwest that his artistic life truly began. He took classes at several art schools in Portland and eventually received a BA in Fine Arts from Harding University. He is now pursuing a BFA at Harding in order to push his artistic career on to the next level.
