My name is Lalida, some people call me Lala =) I'm 19 years old! I graduated with the class of 2009. I'm going to Eastern Washington University for Nursing. I have big dreams & i'm looking forward to making it come true. My goal is to get a Master of Nursing so I can become a Nurse Practitioner. I LOVE helping people. I want to work at Harbor View Medical Center in the emergency/ trauma area. I'm pretty good at giving advices. I use to move a lot so I'm great at making new friends & I'm not afraid to put myself out there. I smile constantly. I think it's just because i'm a very possitive person. I've cried when i saw a homeless person on the street (No lie). I can't help it, i picture what it would like to live a life like that and i'm grateful all the time for what i have. I've always been the kind of person that put other people first. I want to change the world and I will.
Traveling is my passion. So far i've been to: Thailand, France, Italy, and Malta. Hopefully i'll be adding England and Spain to that list soon. I also want to go to Africa and help people and especially children, that need medical care but can't afford it because I think everyone deserve to live a healthy life. This has always been the first thing I want to do after getting my masters. My life is good at the moment..things are finally falling in place & i couldn't be happier.
I love to get involved in school. It's a great way to help people, as well as a great way to get to know your school and what it has to offer. A week after i started college I applied to be a peer educater in the health and wellness team. I just found out that I got in! My job is basically teaching college students safe sex, alcohol education, and to prevent assults from happening on campus. I'm also applying to be a volunteer in the emergency room at one of the hospital close to campus. Still has my fingers cross for that one!
I was also involved in a ton of activities at my high school. I've been a judge in student court. I was the vice president of the AHS Robotics club. This was our first year, so it's been a lot of work setting everthing up from scratch but it was worth it. I was in Link Crew, which help incoming freshmen adjust to being in High School and I also played golf.

General
My favorite sports are volleyball, swim, and golf. Reading is addicting to me. If i start on a book that's interesting. I HAVE to finish it that day even if it's 5am. I love learning about different cultures. Partly because I was born in Thailand and after moving to the U.S. it was a completely new experience. 
Dreams
I want to travel the world helping people after I get my master of nursing. I've always dreamed of doing something that was greater than myself.
Music
I love all types of music, even classical. I use to play the violin in an orchestra. Right now I'm trying to learn how to play the piano and I love it.
Movies
I love the classics: 16 candles, The breakfast Club, The Goonies, Grease etc. Comedy is my favorite types of movies. I also love some chick flicks like P.S. I love you and The Notebook.
