I am a 38 years old, and recently married to a great guy. I am fortunate enough to have 5 of the worlds greatest kids living at home with us. His, mine and now they are ours. I have an amazing 19 year old son and beautifully spirited 16 year old daughter. He has 3 terrific kids, a witty 15 year old son and the most adorable little girls ages 4 and 5. They all mean the world to me and as busy and entertaining as home life can be with all these kids living at home and the various ages..... I wouldn't have it any other way.
I am currently not working and enrolled in college, going for my first degree. It's a lot of work but I know it is well worth it and in the end will pay off.
I learned about this site through a FastWeb Scholarship invite and I thought I would give it a shot. So please if you see that I have any campaigns going, please vote for me as the scholarship funds I hope to win will go directly to covering my books and student loans.

General
I love God and try my hardest to put him in the center of all I do.
I attend church regularly with my children.
Let's see... Well I love to write and I love to read.
I believe education is the best gift you can give to yourself that no one can take away from you.
I love getting into intelligent conversations/debates where people can be mature enough to state there view and hear the other person's view and have an open mind that is willing to see if something new can be learned.
I also love being creative in the graphic sense. I have a PSP program and enjoy tubing pictures and setting them on different backgounds and then enhancing them with the use of effects and accents.
Dreams
My dreams. Hmm okay I'm trying to set small goals for myself and take it one day at a time. So in order of occurance:
1st dream - To see my son graduate from high school, cap and gown and the whole works.
2nd dream - To achieve my goal and gaining my college degree and be able to wear my own cap and gown with my friends and family around me to celebrate.
3rd dream- To see my daughter graduate from high school, again cap and gown and the whole works.
But mainly, I want to see my children be happy. I want to see them succeed in life and accomplish all they set their hearts out to accomplish. I want to see them be productive individuals and one day to have a family of their own.
Music
When it comes to music I like pretty much every genre with the exception of some of this new hip hop that all you hear is curse words.
My favorite would probably be oldies like 80's and Christian Contemporary. Next would be some pop and country.
Movies
Freedom Writers, Half Light, Monster in Law, Sweet Alabama, A Walk to Remember just to name a few.
I love watching Lifetime Movies - I think a lot of them have great messages that can be learned from and I have been known to use them as topic starters with my kids.
People
God - first and foremost
My mom - Always there for me
My kids - My inspiration
My family - Family is everything and the older you get the more you learn to appreciate that fact
My best friend Michelle - 24 years and still going, don't know what I'd do without her
Leah - My adoptive daughter - yeah I love her
My current Pastor - A godly man who knows how to bring the word of God to life
My previous Pastors' - I miss them alot, they were like a mom and dad to me
My friends - Always there to listen when I need to rant, offer advice when I need it and all in all the best
Places
Well my favorite place to be is home with my kids or out doing something with them.
Places I enjoy - Sitting out by a lake, walking along a beach, laying out by a pool
Places I'd like to visit - Italy, Greece, Alaska, Australia, The Carribbean and hopefully Cuba some day
Places I miss - New York and in some ways, more because of the friends I left behind Miami.
