My name's Melinda but anyone who's any kind of close with me calls me Mindy or any variation of it (Mindella, Mindus, Mindo, etc). I graduated from high school in '06, and instead of shooting straight to college I opted to work full-time. I feel that being in the "REAL WORLD" has better prepared me for the college experience and all the responsibility that comes with it, and so I'm finally going back to school this fall. :) I'm basically on brickfish.com in order to try to raise money to fund my education. General
I LOVE traveling, I just went to France this past December. There are so many other places I want to see, but fotunately life is a long journey, because right now I don't have the funds nor the time to SEE THE WORLD. I love basketball, watching and playing it. I also love movies and having heart-to-hearts with close friends. People-watching is always a good time-passer, as well.
Dreams
My somewhat short-term goal is to move to Gainesville this June/July and go back to school full-time. I graduated in 2006 and still haven't been to college. I don't think I was ready for it at the time of graduation, financially or mentally. But now I'm willing to take anything that challenges me head-on.
People
I love when you just feel "a click" with somebody. Not just a romantic one, but any kind of feeling where you know it just feels right, totally comfortable talking to this person even though you've only known them for 5 minutes or so. My favorite people are the ones who I "mesh" with without any effort on either part. They automatically understand where I'm coming from and vice versa. I'm really open to meeting/hanging out with any type of person, though (provided I'm not in danger by doing so), because I think everyone in this world has something to teach you.
