not that anyone wants to know, but...

my name's Mercedes, hi!  I'm a college student majoring in english ed, but my real passion is writing.  I love spending time with my friends and making adventures out of everything.  just going to the store can be an adventure if you have the right people with you.  music is a huge part of my life, I can't go a day without singing or listening to music.  I think the only real way to judge an artist is by getting out there and watching them perform live.  the best feelings in the world are waking up an hour before you have to and going back to sleep, doing something you always wanted to but were afraid to, allowing yourself to be you, even in public, even when it's scary, long drives in the summer, sand between your toes, and a genuine hug.  I think the simplest things are the most beautiful. I can be ridiculous, sarcastic, laugh too loud, and smile too much, but it's who I am and I'm trying to embrace that.
