Candy says, "T-H-A-N-K YOU for your support! I'm thrilled to have finished #1, but since they pick the Puppy Love winner from the top five finishers, we won't know who actually won until Rachel Ray and the judges on the Pooch Panel pick the overall winner. They've got a tough job ahead of them because the top five are all fabulous, and much loved, pups! Throughout the competition, I've gotten to know the other pups and their owners, and I know each of us is a Top Dog full of puppy love! The judges will have to decide, and the rules say 'Winners for Finals will be notified on or about October 22, 2009.' So, we'll just have to keep our paws crossed--I'm praying for the most 'needy' party to win, whomever that may be, for only God knows which party needs the prize package the most. Maybe it will be us (my family and EVHS). Waiting and having patience is not one of my best puppy traits, as evidenced when I start barking for my treats before my mom says, 'Speak!' I just can't help myself! She's got them.. I know it, she knows it, and I want them! BARK! BARK! BARK! BARK! BARK! Oh.. better wait until the judges decide! Sitting silently waiting in anticipation of the command... Licks of love to you!!"

Candy says, "T-H-A-N-K YOU for leaving the great comment on my blog! I really ap-pre-ci-ate that! WOW! Supp'rters were coming out of the woodwork for me yesterday. I did not expect to have the stellar day I did here in Brickfish land. So, T-H-A-N-K YOU ALL who read and respond! Our day of dealing with flooding has passed, and we seem to be drying out. We're so T-HA-N-K-F-U-L for a slow down in the rain, and getting ahead of the water coming in. All the public schools are closed again today, and the radar looks pretty clear, so hopefully everyone will get a chance to dry out a bit today. For me, I look forward to a peek out of sun, so I can bask in it, even if it is momentarily. For a doggie who loves to run and race around the yard, but doesn't want to get her fur coat wet, this full week of rain has been downright depressing! Nothing much to do, but lay around, and that's making me feel like one lazy dog! SO, I've got to keep myself entertained, so I'd go visiting everyone who has visited me. T-H-A-N-K-S for your visit! :-D I'm T-HA-N-K-F-U-L for YOU!"
