NEWS... so wassup folks?
hey hey, all. man... it's been sometime and i apologize for that. those of you who REALLY missed me... well, i'm easy to get in touch with via email, myspace or Warcraft. haha.
so you're all prolly wondering what is New with me and i have some KILLER news to share. it seems that there's so much love to share in this wicked world... so much that Amy and i have been shown the door to Destiny as it seems that our path lies in Parenthood. yep, you heard me right folks... we found out a few weeks ago and now here i am to share it with y'all. i'm excited to be able to share my own personal pearls of wisdom with an impressionable child and i know that he/she is destined for Greatness!
in the World of Warcraft Amy, Amanda and i have finally reached the cap... we're level 70's kicking ass and.. well not taking names... we did that earlier when we we're being ganked by Alliance. Now that we're 70... we're using those names for Payback, haha. gotta love it.
2008 concert series: Wisconsin in July to hook up with Vampire Girl Amanda for Bandcamp... and then in August Mayhem Fest featuring SLIPKNOT AND DISTURBED... got my stage-close seats. hell yeah.
thanks to all my real friends for keeping it real and truly being a friend. You Know Who You Are.
and now my Blurb for the noobs... what's up everyone? my name is Dennis ~ i'm an artist from Michiana. i discovered Brickfish almost a year ago and my first campaign ever was to design a poster for Trivium. unbelievably... as i write this, i'm realizing just how much my portfolio has grown since i started not even a year ago. it's astounding.
my work varies from what i consider the erotic to the esoteric. i like to be well-versed in many forms of art... and really... it's all a matter of the mood that i'm in. i dig sculpting, definitely drawing, painting, trying to master digital painting, i bought the stuff to do lifecasts (yeah, of guess what~) and who knows what other medium i'll delve into? i'm focusing 2008 on my erotic art and it starts with my fine art contribution to the International Erotic Art Show (the Dirty Show).
yes, i am in the graphics biz. i work for a large format screen printing company... aside from that an artist with an array of items under my freelance belt; album covers, comic books, billboards, storyboards, tee shirt designs. etc.
my influences are many as i am a product of pop culture, i am Gen X. i'm influenced by the sweet melodic music that is called heavy metal, industrial, rock... call it what you like, i find great solace in the fact that i'm a metalhead. this year alone i saw: Tool (twice!), Trivium, Hell Yeah, Flyleaf, Atreyu, Evanescence, Droid, Korn, Bleeding Through, Slayer and Marilyn Manson. i love art and culture; i'm a huge fan of many, many things: Clive Barker, McFarlane, Dark Lords of the Sith, Aleister Crowley, Hellboy, Dali, Giger, some comics, Warcraft, did i say metal? my fine art is often a precise mix of occult, sex, fetish, alchemy, and a little love... well, see for yourself (in my albums).
check out my website for examples of my work and life. i'm also on deviantart.com although it is appropriate to tell you that some of my work is of a mature nature: parabolastar.deviantart.com/ and of course myspace, which kinda Sucks in my opinion: www.myspace.com/parabolastar
a local (South Bend) site has me featured: artseverywhere.com/

A cry will ascend to heaven
It will cut through hosts of angels
Feather-flesh will shriekingly fall
from the top of the clouds onto my childhood
