My name is Rachel. I feel I am a very nice person. I am extremely impulsive. Someday in my life I want to join the Peace Corps. and right now in my life I would like to travel to underpriveledged parts of the world to help out. My passion in life is to make other people's lives better, to make a difference. I want to study journalism and mass communications in college. As for where I want to go for college I am still undecided, so if you have any ideas or suggestions let me know!

General
I love to read and write. It could stay perfectly content reading interesting books in interesting places. I've played paino for almost 10 years now. I could spend all of my time in a coffee shop, I love coffee shop atmospheres. I know how to knit, sew, and crochet and it's such a good feeing when you make your own sweater, skirt or any other article of clothing. I love my car, it's an old school Jetta that's not in the greatest condition, but it has character and gets me from point A to point B. Thanks to my mom who owns her own hair salon, I love fashion, vintage fashion to be exact, and make-up artistry. I love going to shows, local shows, big concerts, you name it I go to it. I know a lot of people in bands, and I love going to supporting them. Summer is my favorite season because of the flea markets and Autum is my favorite season because of the weather and the colors. 
Dreams
I would love to be a part of Global Works and someday The Peace Corps.
Music
I love, love, lovee music! Currently I've been listening to a lot of Iron and Wine, Explosions in the Sky, Neutral Milk Hotel, Bob Dylan, Sufjan Stevens, Mum and Chris Garneau. Others that I really enjoy include Sigur Ros, Brand New, Mates of State, Imogen Heap, Bright Eyes, Muse, Cursive, Efterklang, and many many others. I could go on about music, so if you're interested just message me!
Movies
I like almost any movie made through Focus Features Films. Some of my favorite include Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Everything is Illuminated, Lost in Translation, Pride and Prejudice, Garden State, A Beautiful Mind, Marie Antionette. I also am a big fan of funny movies like Tommy Boy (I love Chris Farley) and Wet Hot American Summer.
