OK...Lemme see. about me...Welllll...8 years of Catholic school shaped my life and made me realize that not all people are good people. But I grew up OK anyway. Two failed marriages left me with two beautiful daughters. They are 25 and 17. My third marriage was the charm and we have been married almost 10 years. I adopted a son about 3 years ago and he is 10. Most recently, my daughter's boyfriend came to live with us and we have a full house. And of course they stay in separate rooms...duh. Last and least, I am a Postmaster to get the bills paid. I am ready to retire but my finances aren't and they say I have to work 8 more years ....WAHH. Hubby is a police officer. Hmm.. let's see, I am a postmaster and a foster parent and an adoptive parent and my hubby is a cop so that probably makes us the most highly investigated couple in the county!

General
I love my kids and I love doing things for them. I also love arts and crafts, reading, computering, video games but only SOME of them, my little house and my littler pool. I knit, sew, crochet, make dolls, scrapbook, rubber stamp, alter books, make beads and make them into jewelry, and I love gemstones. I like animals, especially my little DearieB and my pure white cat Sugar. I love experimenting with all kinds of artsy things. I love doing Artist Trading Cards but my hubby totally does not "get" them. I love taking pictures, especially of my kids. And I am having fun sharing them here.
Dreams
I dream of the day that I can retire from the post office. Even in my little office, it is so stressful. I wake up in the middle of the night wondering if I have forgotten to sign a certification or something. Constant pressure to be absolutely perfect all the time is really wearing me down. So I plan on retiring as soon as I am offered the opportunity. It may be 6 years, it may be 8. It could possibly be sooner if they offer an early out...I can hope can't I? Then my hubby and I plan on doing some traveling or doing some "nothing" for a while. I hope I don't croak before I get there.
Music
I am foremost a Billy Joel fan but I listen to all kinds of music. My 17 year old daughter Jessy sings and I love to listen to her. I am the treasurer of the fine arts booster club at her school. She is a soprano and she is very talented.

#1 Son...Ryan...5th grader adopted from foster care. He has his moments but has a good heart and is adorable
#2 Son (well sorta kinda)...Chad, Jessy's boyfriend who is also accepted at Barton College for nursing this fall
