I am the wife of a US Soldier. Married young, you cant help who you fall in love with and when you know this is "the one" YOU KNOW, so dont judge me on that! We have a beautiful little girl that will soon be 2! I LOVE the outdoors..hunting, fishing, mudding, fires, camping, all of it I LOVE!!
I live the military life, and if your a spouse of a service member you know that military comes first, even if it means you put your dreams on hold. I love photography and the best thing about that is I can take it anywhere. I also make military purses and again I cant take that anywhere.
We may so called "complain" about the military and we can, we married the Soldier NOT the war! Yes we knew what we were getting into when we married a military member but that doesnt mean we know what to expect because everyday is a new day!!
This life is:
Sleeping with your cell phone because you dont wanna miss a call.
Tear up when hearing the national anthem because our loved one has a part in keeping our flag flying free.
True love.
Falling apart and putting ourselves back together because no matter what we still have to keep trucking along.
Taking the responsiblity of two people.
Knowing how it feels to be a single mother even though we are married.
Every time the phone rings or theres a knock at the door we pray hard that its not bad news.
Hurry up and wait.
Send Off...you feel proud, blessed, honored, sad, worried, and afraid all at once.
Welcome Home...you feel love and relieved because he is back in your arms safe, and not once do we think about when he has to leave again because we live one day at a time, so we are thankful for having each day we get with him.
