We just bought our first single home, are currently HGTV obsessed and all about DIY projects. 

I love to exercise by running, walking our big old bulldog/Boxer mix Rocky Balboa, playing, kickboxing and balancing it with some soothing yoga every morning. 

We are total foodies in this house so we must excercise to balance it out!

I'm also in the fashion retail program at the Art Institute and have what some may call a fondness for shoes. I hope to combine that with my writing experience and become a fashion journalist in the future.

I took matters into my own hands last summer and quit the 9-5 bit to freelance write. Funny how going back to your childhood dreams can really change your life for the better! 

Another childhood hobby that I've resumed - gardening! How relaxing and peaceful...

Although we don't get there as often as we'd like, we're total beachbums and live for the summer months when we can swim and play outside all day!

When I get a chance I like to sneak out with my girlfriends for some good grub, a few beers, gossip, a good laugh and when we get really lucky, some dancing!

I also have an unexplainable love for the following: Shopping, Cold Stone Creamery, Domino's pizza, the sun and Nicole Richie
