Profile Summary

I am a 57 year old surfer from Santa Cruz, CA that has been surfing since 1967. I am as stoked as I ever was!!
I have become disabled due to a rare disease that there is no cure for. I am still able to surf some of the time - it sure is fun.
My disability has enabled me to help others in the surfing community. I am a volunteer with "Ride A Wave" organization; holding surf camps for kids with various disabilities and taking them out surfing! It is awesome! I am also Vice President of Big Stick Surfing Assoc. We hold contests and surfing clinics all year long to raise money for scholarships, charities and the coastal environment.
I help other surfing clubs in California raise money for various charities as well, including Ronald McDonald House. I volunteer my time also to help coach kids and adults learning to surf , through Club Ed Surf Camps and school surf teams.
I'm stoked to "share the stoke"! It's what I like doing!!!!
My goal is to "share the stoke" with others, especially those that need it! (Pay it forward if you will!)

My profile explains my interests in life. It is sharing the ability to surf and have fun. The "Aloha" spirit if you will!

I want others to share the same stoke that I've had through surfing for over 40 years! Working with kids and adults to get the most out of their surfing which will help in life as well. To be thankful while having a great time and learning to share the beauty and fun with others. Surfing has given me so many ways to raise money for chairities, to work with the disabled, to teach and give what I love!!
