So get this. I'm Caitlin Spivey and I like to think I'm pretty awesome. More awesome than you! No, just kidding. I actually have breaks in self-confidence pretty often, but that kind of thing happens when you're a performer. No one who sings or plays an instrument or acts or dances is ever completely confident all the time. Except maybe when they're dead.

I'm a singer, preferably an alto two but I can sing anything, really. Just don't expect me to talk if you want me to sing sop-1. I'm also an actress, which I think is my real strong point. My minor in college will be theater. The downfall of my triple-threat musical theater potential comes in dance: I had two years when I was five and six...and that's about it. I'm not awful, but I'm hardly good either.

I like talking but sometimes it's slow and awkward. Sometimes there's nothing to talk about. I love writing but most of the time it will only come in RP form. I am nerdy, but not so nerdy that I can tell you the mode of a scale, despite being voted Most Musical out of my senior class. I AM A SERIOUS MOVIE WATCHER. Do not get between me and my movies. I'm serious about music and though my taste in bands changes my favorite styles are the same. I prefer rock to anything else, but techno's a close second. Moving orchestral pieces rock my socks.

The only thing better than a movie is a good old-fashioned book. My major in college will be English Lit studies cause boy, do I love that English literature. I don't read as much as I'd like anymore, simply because high school doesn't give me time, but I try to make time whenever possible. I'm open to suggestions for reading anything. If I think I won't like it, I'll ask you to change my mind.

I can be a not-nice-person sometimes, but who's nice all the time, really? I can get defensive and ridiculous but it's all in a day's work. I'm good and I know it, I'm just never good enough. I like to dream big about everything but most of the time it stays that way. My room is the most amazing room in the world. Basically all the junk I've accumulated goes on the walls, plus some wall-art by me and my bff Courtney, who I don't get to see as much as I would like anymore.
