I am 17 years old, I am a senior in high school, I live with my mom and my little brother. My dad died on August 24th, 2005, and that was a big turning point in my life. I wrote a book to help cope with my pain, because I used to be a cutter. Anyone who is not or never has been a cutter will never understand the reasoning behind it, and if you want me to try to explain it, I will just tell you that I cant.  I havent cut myself for almost 2 years now, and I dont plan on ever doing it again. I have a wonderful boyfriend named Tim Ford, and a best friend in the world named Nick Ward. I  couldnt ask for more in either of them. Nick has been there for me every time I ever needed him, and he still is. Tim is my other half. I cant even picture myself without him. To be honest, without him, I am nothing. He keeps me strong and gives me the reassurance I need when I am feeling down. Though most of my great art has come from my times of sadness, I can produce great art without being upset. I lived with an alcoholic for 6 years, and I think it helped me with my art alot. I remember every time my step- dad and I started to  fight, I would lock myself  in my room, and  draw and write poems until I passed out. I am looking to persue a career in art, or music, and  I hope that I will meet the right people to help me do this.
