Profile Summary

I was shot in the eye with a roman candle on new years.  I have lost function in it hopefully temporarily but only time will tell.

Life is too beautiful not to see it.  But as always, I quickly realized that my eye may be blind, it has provided me with the stillness that has opened me up to what may trully be important in life.  I don't see this as undeserving misfortune.  I see it as an event... an unpleasent one... but still simply as an event that will lead to whom I will become in my old age.  And I am eager to see who that is.

My friend told me at the hospital that if any one of those 25 people at my party were to be shot in the eye with a firework, she was glad it was me.  Simply because I am the only person that could ever see the blessing hiding in this awful event.

Thank you Steph, for your kind words.

Interests
General
Le Parkour :  On nights I feel as if I have too much energy, I strap onmy thinest shoes, empty my pockets and grab my Kendo sword.  The 60MbMP3 player is energized and starts to blast techno.  I go running out my Fitler Square Apartment in Philadelphia towards the skyscrapers with the sword strapped to my back.  Over the hedges, Over the walls, up the building, to the top where I meet an identical soul.  He unveils his weapon as he stampedes towards me.  After this work-out we befriend each other and go running together up a wall, down a balcony, roof top to roof top.  These are my adventures in the great city of Philadelphia.

Skateboarding :  Kick the door open, Kick off the tie, Kick off the work shoes, Kick up the board.  Out I am down the busiest streets of Philly. Between cars, betweens buses, between people... I grab a hold of a Septa bus and it pulls me along the road.  Carve a corner into an alley.  Fly past the bums... olly into the street and down a rail... cheers from people who used to do the same come flowing from the subway cars. Finally, I stop and behold the sight of Love Park.  A smile hits me as the police sirens start to blare and I see my friends running.

Science : The fresh smell of petri dishes and contaminated media. Searching for another's answer because my questions are too under-developed to go anywhere at the moment.  Hoping for the day that I too can tell others to search for my treasures.  One day I will be there but I can not forget to make the most of today.  For living always for tomorrow will never allow tomorrow to come.  It is but an illusion that boat, that money, that house, that happiness if we fail to see the treasures of today.  I love life and my mind will never fade.

Art :  What more can one say to the feeling of pinching your nose to the paper.  So close that your mind begins to wrap itself around the image you are drawing.  Hours upon Hours of nose to paper and finally, I pull away and I jump a little.  The image of an eye in a half drawn face pops out and stares me down.  No, this is too scary.  He's looking right at me.  I have to rip it apart.  hahaha, lets start another.
